Cycling Professor Didn't Ride Today

It pains me to admit this:  On a lovely, if rather chilly, fall day, I didn't cycle to work.

I took the train instead.  It bought me time, of which I haven't had nearly enough, to look at some students' papers and to review a lesson.

Yes, the colleges were open, even though it's Veteran's Day.

Here's a video of a cycling professor:  http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5251769227304946424

  1. Even the cycling professor needs a day off!

And apropos to nothing, BUT: did you see the new "build your own frame" gadget on the Mercian website? I wish to God I hadn't! Before I knew what was happening to me, I "built" a moss green fixed gear frame with a cream headtube, cream lug outlines and bordeaux gothic lettering!

Must. Close. Mercian browser window. Now.
    (Help!)

Now I can blame you for the next deadline I miss. The Mercian framebuilder has to be one of the best time-wasters I've ever seen! The funny thing is that it's even more of a temptation, now that I have three Mercians.
