This should have been on a Grateful Dead album cover.
Perhaps it would have been, had Jose Pulido drawn it about 40 years earlier. It was part of a post about the "Cinco de Biko" post on Roof Pig!, a seemingly-dormant blog.
The image seems more appropriate to Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), but it somehow seems fitting for a ride on this day, Cinco de Mayo.
Enjoy your "Cinco de Biko," whatever it is!
Huh, I had no idea Cinco de Biko was "thing". I inadvertently celebrated it with a 37.1-mile roundtrip ride for my second COVID vaccine shot (so now, I shouldn't end up as a skeleton due to SARS-CoV-2!). The weather was at times bad, at times OK, but I decided to go ahead with it today to get the shot sooner than later. In fact, I rescheduled it a couple of hours earlier to avoid the worst of the rain. I should've known better: the forecast was more of a "suggestion" than a prediction, and I was partly soaked by the time I got there, but oh well, I've got my two shots now.
