Rain, rain and more rain. That’s a fair summary of the past two days. One local weather forecaster called this summer a “blockbuster storm season.” Blockbuster? I guess storms can be spectacles, spreading across the sky like a movie on a screen.
Ironically, I was most worried about rain the other day, I’d pedaled out to Point Lookout and was enjoying pane de casa from Addeo’s with Manchego cheese when a cumulus cloud with a face of shadows crawled across the sky. It passed, and I made good use of my sunscreen during the ride back.
And now I get to watch this summer’s “blockbuster “ when we were supposed to see a near-total lunar eclipse.
