For a few years, I was a fairly dedicated mountain biker. I still preferred road biking, on the whole, but I used to enjoy going riding over rocks and through creeks, especially when accompanied by a "crew".

I fear I'm too delicate and clumsy to mountain bike. Cyclocross is about as close as I'm gonna get.

ReplyDeleteSteve--Now you know why I stopped mountain biking. When I approached my mid-40s, I noticed that I was getting hurt more and taking longer to heal. So, even though I enjoyed mountain biking, it wasn't so difficult to give up because I always preferred road riding and touring.
